Oh hey look, another update to the story after a certain thing became public... Totally not a coincidence... Totally not... *cough* ... ... ENJOY BYE!
Kari raced back to help Undyne, Kitearo, Beats, and Boom with anything they needed. She skid to a stop when she saw the four looking at something with pissed expressions. She then looked towards what they were looking at and widened her eyes. In front of them stood what looked like a teen in with a long brown cloak around their body and to their right, a robot that was sitting and powered down next to the person. The robot had bits of blood splatters and monster dust around the che
Hey, K-KitD here and look what's back!! ... Sorry about the long wait, stuff happened and I was put into a slump for a while. Also working on other things in life, all of which personal that I'd rather not talk about. I make no promises when the next chapter comes out, but I hope this is ok. Without further delay, enjoy the long awaited chapter 7!
Once the group saw the death and destruction before them, they shivered. Fear running up their spines at the thought of what could be happening. Whatever it was, it was definitely nothing good. Kitearo sighed then nudged the twins, then Flo, Sans, and finally Kari.
He faced them, his b
Standing in front of the girl was a woman with long shimmering fire colored hair, a dazzling kimono decorated in blazing reds, oranges and golds with a phoenix pattern. Her hair was partly pulled up and held in place by a flaming ball. The figure turned and looked at Kari. Her eyes were a bright gold color.
“Who are you?” Kari asked while she was helped stand up.
The woman smiled gently with a light chuckle. “We have already met. But I look different than what you've seen. You know me as Seika. But my real name is Amaterasu.” Kari blinked a few times as everything began to rush at her.
Kari widened her eyes. “
The weeks went by and it was now the day before the night of the new moon. Kari was a bit nervous since she had always fallen asleep in the past before seeing Inuyasha’s human form, so she was never able to see what he looked like as a human nor could she help. But now Kari could help and she wanted to be sure that he could depend on her since he would lose all of his demonic abilities and would be unable to protect everyone. That morning Kari focused on training and getting stronger so she was ready for anything. Inuyasha soon approached her from the tree he was napping in, since the group stopped for a quick break to refill their wate
Three months had passed since the five half-monster children and the few monsters that lived above ground had to flee back into Mt. Ebott. They were all curious as to how things were going in town. Well, most of them. Kari was still recovering from losing her mother-figure, once again. She had lost more parents than the average child her age, and it was taking its toll on her. It slowly began to upset the other children. They understood her pain but they were angered by her reluctance to talk about it.
“Kari, we need to talk about Mother.” Kitearo spoke while sitting next to Kari. The girl glanced up at him then back to the groun
A week passed and the group began to notice that Kari was acting strange. She seemed more tired than usual and a bit more tense and high strung. Every so often while sparing with Inuyasha, she would fall asleep and collapse for only a few seconds only to jolt back up with a whine. The group began to worry about the girl even more so since this showed no sign of stopping. They all decided to stop by a river for lunch. Inuyasha stretched while Shippo set up a fire with Chase, Kirara helped Sango with some laundry, Miroku watched from afar while Kagome cooked some food. Kari looked off into the distance blankly. She always looked in the same dir
After a week, the group had made their way into a village. They began asking questions about Naraku and his incarnations. The villagers had no clue about the demons they spoke of, but they did have other information.
“You see,” One Of the villagers began. “About thirteen years ago the palace that belonged to our kind princess was blocked off by a barrier. She ruled with kind words and protected us from harm. So when the barrier appeared, we all began to worry. We haven't gotten any word from her or anyone from the palace.” Miroku stepped up.
“We will gladly see what we can do.” He informed.
When Chase woke up the next day, he stretched his back and let his fur bristle then flatten. He looked around then noticed Kari walking around. He shook as if he was covered in water, his behind shaking a bit longer and his tail a bit faster, then changed into his usual form. The dragon trotted up to the girl and cooed happily. Kari looked at him.
“Mornin’.” She greeted happily. Chase roared in a low tone, as if asking a question. “Why am I up early?” Kari asked then chuckled. “More like I didn’t fall asleep.” She informed while working on fixing up the warehouse to be a bit more like home. Cha
Another day passed by in Tokyo. Kagome still heard nothing about Kari attending school. She sat in her seat as the bell rang for the school day to start. The students stood and bowed as their teacher walked, greeting the students then telling them they could sit.
“Alright class,” He began. “Today we have a new student.” Kagome sighed as a boy with black hair and blue eyes walked in. He was rather short, his hair was a bit messy and had two longer bangs that covered his ears. He had a slightly muscular build yet looked pretty weak.
“Hello, I’m Ryuu Scarlet. Nice to meet you.” He bowed with a small sm
