“You must train your intuition - you must trust the small voice inside you which tells you exactly what to say, what to decide”
~ Ingrid Bergman

This is number two in a series of Tarot-inspired mystical angels I'm creating. If you look closely, the High Priestess's wings are affixed to her seat -- something that represents her very nature. When she focuses on her gifts -- intuition, leadership, community -- and "takes her seat," she becomes the Angel she was meant to be. When she neglects these things, she becomes mortal and prone to mistakes.

Rendered in Poser Pro 2012. Postwork in Photoshop CS3. Download for full 1600 x 2350 resolution.

Thanks so much! This is turning out to be a LOT of fun and very inspirational. It's amazing what having actual guidelines does to my Muse. I feel like I'm not just fumbling with content -- I have a mission! :D

The gold accents are very sharp looking, and the wings really add something, very cool to the picture.

I'm pretty excited, too! And there are just over 20 of them, so it's a good project -- big enough to be a challenge, but not overwhelming! :D

Thanks, as always!!

How cool is that! I just love your Tarot angel idea and I think we will be seeing a lot of these very creative works as you progress. I like how her wings are actually part of the chair and how she gains the power when seated. Great touch! Wonderful job on your render sweetie! Just love it! weeeeee! :iconbwavoplz:

P.S. - Today I will be meeting the postman at the frigging door! la la la :iconrobotlaughplz:

I'm really enjoying the Tarot thing. It's been fun so far. I was particular about this one. The High Priestess is such an iconic card... I felt like I wanted to be somewhat traditional in the imagery with this one. The columns, the book... All those things are very much part of the Tarot's history. I think I can loosen up and just be creative with many of the other cards, but with this one, I wanted to be traditional. :D

I cannot wait to see what the postman's delivery inspires YOUR muse to make!! :boogie: Woo-hoo!! Time to make art!!!

It's very cool! The tarot has always been so interesting to me. I'm not real familiar with all the particulars, but I have always wanted to create a series with them sometime too. hehe You did great and I look forward to seeing more of them as well! Yea! :iconlovesqueeplz:

haha, well....I did finally get my copy but I was working on my old computer trying to bring it back to life. The new part I ordered, did not do the trick. Still dead as a doornail. boo! I spent the rest of the day Tuesday and all day yesterday tearing it apart to check everything, but no luck. I have narrowed it down to the PSU, CPU or the MB. Sooooo, am starting with the cheapest part, the PSU and have got a new one ordered. I was so frustrated I could not fix it. boo! If the PSU does not work, I'm thinking I don't want to throw more money into it and may just shelve it for spare parts. It's over 5 years old now and probably just going to nickel and dime me to death. haha

OMG!!! I finally got it installed late last night but did not get to play. The features are freaking awesome and I'm going to take my time and get to know them better before I get a render done probably. hehe I'm getting some inspiration though, just wish my head did not weight 1000 lbs with this sinus yuck. haha. My poor little neck is really tired by the end of the day. hehe But hopefully I will have some success and get a render posted. It's pretty freaking awesome though so I'm all excited too! :iconkermityayplz:

You poor thing -- I HATE sinus infections. Had one a few years back that morphed into pneumonia, which morphed into pleurisy, and then I coughed so hard I broke a rib. I was sick from October to January. I am sending you "happy, snot-free" vibes. That awful head pressure is indescribable. I sincerely hope you are on the mend shortly. Your half-ton-head needs to give you a break!!

I am TOTALLY in love with PPro2012, too. The preview alone is SOOO much nicer! No more annoying ground shadows! WOOT!! :D I'll be digging out the art in-box soon. I haven't even commented on the last things you posted, so I figure I'd better get on that before you make new stuff, lol.

Hope you are feeling better!!

Aww, thanks! In fact I am feeling sooooo much better. I am allergic to something that is in the air in the fall and I always get hit hard with a nasty sinus infection. It usually gets so bad I am coughing up blood and have no voice. (No voice I'm sure is a blessing. hehe) I am trying something new this time. My sister-in-law told me about the Neti Pot. It's a nasal rinse that really helps loosen it all up so you can get it out. It's pretty cool too. It looks like a little blue Aladdin's lamp. weeeee! ;P It's really done the job to relive the pressure and get things moving again. I was very surprised. She said to keep using it especially thru the really bad allergy times and it will keep me from getting all sick again. I am going to give it a try and see. I really hate taking meds so anything I can do to avoid them works for me! Yea!

I totally agree! I've been reading like a crazy person trying to get my wee brain wrapped around it all. Love the preview! It's awesome! It's so easy to tell if your textures will work or not too. Love that! Aww, no worries, you don't have to rush just for my goofy stuff. Just if your bored and can't find anything else to do. hehe Thanks, I am feeling so much better and I hope to get a jump on the pile of stuff I have let slide. Oh Nooooo! :iconwhitefoxohnoesplz: Not that pile! Please, please anything but that pile! I have a folder that is called "to be filed" and I put all of my important doc's in there and file it once every quarter. Well......:iconwhistlingplz: silly me, just let it slide now I have almost four quarters of stuff to file and go thru. boo! When my father passed away a little over a year ago, my brother and I where responsible for handling his estate and the freaking paperwork is a mile high. :iconoverwhelmedplz: We still are not done yet. Uncle Sam needs to sort out his priorities. The ridiculous stuff your required to do makes me so nuts! :iconmyeyeswantmoreplz: Then everything has to be in triplicate on top of it. I've never had so many paper cuts in my life. haha I should not complain, there are a lot of worse things that I could have to do so I'll stop whining now. hehe weeeee!:iconfaintsplz:
