When She Created the World.
I wanted that the Creation irradiated from her, i wanted to show her calm, quiet, zen, introspective while She Creates the world, like amother giving birth but with serenity.
So Creation irradiate from Her.

Anu, Dana, Danu

Mother Goddess and Earth Goddess. Her name is sometimes Ana, or Dana, or Danu. The Tuatha dé Danaan are one of the "races" or "peoples" of ancient Ireland. God-like, their leaders are, in effect, the Gods of Ireland. Generally regarded nowadays as benign and the "powers of light", their name Tuatha dé Danann is translated as meaning "People of the Goddess Anu". While one automatically assumes one’s Gods to be benign, evidence for the nature of the dé Danaan is not conclusive. While the Irish-language word tuath does mean "people" or "tribe", it can also mean "sinister, perverse, malign, evil". The word "tuathal" implies spell-making and witchcraft, and the conjuring up of sinister forces.

In one of the most ancient of the Irish manuscripts there is a description of Anu, along with her two "sisters" Badb and Macha, as "na ban tuathige", meaning ‘the sinister women’. In one of his battles the Hero Cuchulainn was supported by entities associated with Anu. "Ra gairester imme baccanaig, ocus bananagaig, ocus geniti glinni, ocus Demna aeoir". "The satyrs, and sprites, and maniacs of the valleys, and demons of the air shouted about him..." None of this sounds particularly "benign". Further, we know that in Britain Anu was worshipped as Andate. The ceremonies involved the suspension of sacrificial women in groves of trees and the severance of their breasts which were pinned up about the place in grisly fecundity rituals. Breasts as symbols of nourishment are important to Anu. In Ireland’s County Kerry we have placenames such as The Paps of Anu and The Paps of Morrigan, this latter being a poor translation from Da Cich na Morrigna, actually meaning the Two Breasts of the Great Queen.

I encourage the critics (constructive please) from digital painters!!!

Note please : I did NOT tried to make a perfect body. i made bigger legs than the body, by purpose. i don't like when things i create looks like in the reality ;-)

This is beautiful in its soft color palette and general dreamy mood. If you want some constructive critique from digital painter (that's the only one I usually give ) - I'd personally add more color variation here. I understand you aimed for almost monochromatic palette and that's fine but adding opposite color from the color wheel (in this case that'd be cold bluish tones) would make the figure "pop". I don't mean big blocks of color, just hints here and there - like in shadowed areas where the light doesn't hit directly. Also you may want to look at Linda Bergkvist's skintones advice here [link] - she covers main aspects of color variations on skin, it helped me A LOT  And one more - texture. Skin is not smooth, even if your piece has this dreamy look, soft and misty it would definetely add if the skin was textured. You may use default PS brush or any other that consists of dots or simply create it yourself - with scattering and shape dynamics it creates nice pores and color variations (used in Overlay mode with low opacity).
Overall it's really beautiful painting. Keep it up!

oh i thank a loooooot! really!!
in fact i've NOt used ps to make this ;-) but psp.. what can esplain some difficulties i had making this.
i really need to work with ps, but each time i try each time it looks like a drawing made by a baby... i dunno why i CAN'T do something with ps.....
i know the tutorials at furiae i've saved them all a while ago, above all i'm hunting tuts for hairs, i've tonz but, nope i can't do them (you know the strands).... i don't know i've two left hands probably.
but if i can do womthing in psp why am i not able to do a simple circle in ps?????????????? it's a mystery for me....

But PSP has similar tools so i bet you can translate what I've said about PS to PSP language ;)
For the hair you can use brush looking like this [link] (sorry for crappy look, I painted that minute ago to show you ^^;) and when you're painting thin strands waving around thehead you can use default hard round brush with opacity set to pen pressure. These loose strands add life to the hair.
Aww, hun, you're not left handed :aww: It's simple - when one gets used to one program then this is not easy to switch to another. I had same issue with Painter but I'm stubborn and I forced this devil to work :D so i think it's a matter of time and practice. You're wonderful artist
karemelancholia's avatar
no it's not the problem, psp is different from ps dear. if you've never usede it you can't know that you cannot do details with psp. the movements in psp are not the same than in ps, you can't make rounded waves!
you're right i think that my main problem is that i'm too customed to psp... each time i make a manip i try to use ps for the hair.. but no it does not work!!!
pen pressure in ps i'll remember that... i should try and try, again and aain, i'll achieve for sure, na!

hey thanx for the brushes! But i always wonder how to make the end of each strand/hair, you know they are thinner at the end.... that's a mystery for me!
