Thank you to all of you that voted and helped out. I didn't make it through, but I appreciate the support. It was one of those popularity > skill things that bug me and for some reason it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Oh well, stay focused and keep on drawing.

So, I've been trying to build up confidence in my artwork again. I never really looked at things before as something that would blow me away, but I've really started to put myself out there now. For critiques and for positives. One of the things I've done recently is put my work up in a sort of battle arena. If you like what you see, vote, I'm sure the other people would appreciate it too.
