I'm posting this as a journal because I want to save it for posterity.
I don't normally dream about my fictional characters. I have had dreams that inspired a few, but rarely do my original characters show up in my dreams. Such was not the case in the wee hours of this morning (4/12/19.) I have a very vivid... and very bizarre dream about the protagonist of the book series I'm working on at the moment, Perdita Nightshade.
Perdita's been a truly amazing character to write about for me. She's more developed than any of my previous protagonists, and she's just plain fun. Honestly, it's kind of strange that this is the first dream (that I can remember) that featured her. Yet it had her in a very, very peculiar setting and situation, to put it mildly. She was working as a nanny... to toddler versions of the gods of her universe.
