For those who don't know Sally Ride, astronaut and America's first woman in space passed on recently. She battled for a long time with pancreatic cancer but it finally got the upper hand. A very influential person to me personally because we both shared the same problem, yes I have pancreatic cancer too - its the reason I've not posted much recently.

God speed Sally Ride you were an inspiration to fellow sufferers of the disease not to mention young girls in America. She was an inspiration to young girls to strive further and aim at the stars.

Sally Ride was quite an inspiration. She turned down the offer of turning her new-found fame into a comodity and continued to just do her job. She had lofty goals (literally) and she managed to complete her goals and beyond.

I did not know this - of her, her ailement nor yours.

I hope you will beat it sir - I really do.

As for Sally, no real news of her which is a disgrace; she'd be proud you remembered her, compared to the nation and agency that appears to have forgotten her.

Sally Ride, a truly heroic person - in space and on Earth - in many ways.

My heart goes out to you and yours. I truly enjoyed going through your gallery.

I'm not dead yet, plenty life in this old body even if it is screwed past next sunday. I'll post something soon, been waiting for my right hand to heal (household accident - side effect of one of the drugs screws the inner ear so you fall over alot).
I'm glad you like my doodle collection :)
