The Letter

As Sunny entered the cave, she could feel the warmth of the cave hitting her whole body. It surprised her a bit. She thought the cave would have a more moist feeling or a cold feeling to it.

She walked further into the cave and began to hear a slithering noise. It made her a bit uncomfortable, but she had a duty to fulfill.

Soon she could see a light up ahead, she was happy to see some light, but her happiness vanished when she noticed something on the walls and on the ground that she could now see because of the light.

Snakes...Insects...and...Bones...

She began to feel terrified. All this time she had been hearing snakes making those slithering noises. And she was walking past them without knowing they were there in the first place.

But as she reached the light there were fewer snakes, insects, and bones to see.

She had finally arrived at the main room. She sighed in relief. She looked down seeing the floor was empty of snakes, bugs, and bones. She wanted to rest, but before she could even think of doing that she heard someone say.

" I see I have a guest here. " A voice said.

Sunny looked up and saw a throne made out of roots, and on that throne sat a cloaked figure, who was accompanied by two snakes, one was around the cloaked figure's left arm, and the other one was laying on the ground.

Sunny immediately knew that this was Nympha, the most powerful magic user and only one in the swamp kingdom.

She walked up to her and bowed down in front of her. Everyone knew that they should treat Nympha with the utmost respect. Nympha had done so many things for this Kingdom and she should be respected for those things.

Nympha then said, " Why are you here? "

Sunny without saying anything took out the letter and held it up towards Nympha, still bowing down.

Nympha reached out with her right hand and took the letter, and opened it up.

She began reading it through. It only took a moment for her to read everything in the letter.

" I see. So, I guess it's time then. "  " Nympha said.

She looked down at Sunny, who looked up at her a little.

" Tell the Leaders that I'm on it. " She told Sunny.

Sunny was a bit curious, and Nympha saw the curious look and asked her " What's in your mind, messenger? Don't be scared, you can tell me. "She asked her.

" I was just thinking, how will you solve this problem we have? " Sunny asked her.

" Oh, I have my ways. " Nympha said. "You can go now. And don't worry, my pets won't hurt you" She told Sunny.

Sunny stood up and went through the same entrance she came from.

Once she was out of the cave, she turned into her beast form and ran all the way back to the Council Chamber.
