Guardians of Gorm heigh chart

I cannot express how happy I am that I finished drawing these ladies. And here they are: Ayana, Brise, Quake, and Tsunami, the Guardians of Gorm.

To be clear, not Lords of Gorm, but GUARDIANS of Gorm.

And yes, all four ladies are related to the Gorm lords. More specifically, they are the Lords’ older sisters.

Who are these ladies? Well, as their title says, they are Guardians, protecting Gorm's outer areas from enemies.

How did they come to be? The short answer: Glass Empress.

The Long answer: Two of them went through a dangerous and traumatic event in their lives, while the other two were forgotten and neglected. Glass Empress, seeing that the four had some potential and needed a family, recruited all four one by one. She taught, guided, and trained them to be the Guardians of Gorm.

In GNU season 1, these ladies are in their early 20s. All four were too busy protecting the outer regions of Gorm, so they had no idea what was happening in Gorm at the time. They did later overhear what had happened in Gorm through Glass Empress and Old Sage, who revealed that the lords and guardians are related. Each Guardian has different reactions to the info, especially Ayana.

But the ladies are too busy with their work to go out and reconnect with their younger siblings. They do later have a reunion with the lords.

In GNU: season 2 (My imagine and continuation of GNU). After a couple of years pass, the Lords are in their early 20s, while the Guardian Ladies are in their late 20s (27-28).

So, the image here depicts them in their late 20s.

More info on them will be on their separate images. Why am I uploading each image separately? Well, maybe people like one or two characters’ design more than the others, also because I find it easier.

Do the Guardians end up meeting the lords?

Yes.

All of them were shocked to see their siblings.

Ayana is the most shocked and happy of them all since she thought Tasaru died. Her heart feels lighter knowing that she has a family member who is alive. But she later on, she confronted Petrifus about why he lied to her.

Brise and Noctis at first can’t believe their eyes. Brise is surprised to learn that Noctis never knew that Brise, his older sister, existed. King Nadar never bothered to tell Noctis of this info. But she is happy to see her brother, even though he comes off as too stubborn and proud.

Quake is surprised by Agrom, but not that much. Agrom notices the lack of interest. He feels a bit sad from the lack of emotion from Quake. But he does get over it once Quake tells Agrom that she just doesn’t know how to properly show her expressions. Quake does make sure to tell Agrom that even though she’s not good at expressing proper emotions, she is deeply happy to see Agrom and glad that he is doing great.

Tsunami is surprised to see that her young twin brothers grow up to become fine rulers. She is shocked to hear that her parents are dead and have been dead for a long time. She feels a bit guilty for not confronting them years ago about how they treated her. She does feel sad, but she is happy to see her brothers are doing well in taking good care of the kingdom.
