And here she is, my finished (or for now finished because I think about repainting her) Elsa with her dress from Frozen Fever (like I imagine it). I am sorry I did not make it yesterday but the shoes took longer to make than I had planned. But, no matter. She is finished. And I love her. I hope you will like her, too. And I hope to see some more frozen fever OOAK dolls. There will also a picture with details.
People break their promises, so I refuse to do commissions, requests, or art trades ever again cause I believe they're taking an advantage of me.
Anyway, how do create your own dolls? What classes do you take to do that? Your work never ceases to amaze me! It must be hard work!
But I do not take commissions because of that, I do not take them because then crating a doll would be a duty and I want it to stray my hobby that I love to do.
Uhm .... I do not take any courses. I learnt how to sew from my best friend when we sewed the bubble dress together and since then I was just practicing. I was always got at handy craft work and I love to try new things, and because of that I always find a solution. And I talk to other artists and sometimes we trade "secrets". That is all.
Creating the dolls is hard work (most of the time, mostly because I always want the things that take time and a lot of work. But when they are finished I am sooo happy to have them). But I am far from perfect, a lot of things need practicing, for example my repainting skills, there is still sooo much to learn. (I envy you living in the US I want the paintbrushes you can get there but not in Germany ><)
