Burn

Bottle glass cat, bitter brown and stained black
With a lung as sharp and dark as worn brass
Back to foam it crests through waves with a crack
Its maw split wide, filled with teeth and green glass
Hear the sand, its rasp against the air
The cat’s claw curls a single ring, sun bright
Across crown glass, burning its brand into grit fair
The powder smoke smoldering into light
Amber glass rolls through monastery windows
The shadow of silicon devils dance
Through stained glass, spitting painted frescoes-
Setting fire to hell with a forked lance
    Set fire to ocean’s kiln, scald its dark bays
    Burn, the whiskers of time, set them ablaze
