These were done a few weeks ago. The top was done with Paintstorm studio as practice (Being sponsored by them, so expect more Paintstorm tests as I get more time
I'll write a review when I feel comfortable using all the basic tools)
The bottom was done with usual paint tool sai. It was inspired by Kung Fu Panda 3- I walked passed my sis and she was watching it and I just looove the movies to death. The artwork and animation really improved with each movie. This took about 2 hours and 30 min.
The top was inspired by Studio Ghibli environmental art, especially Kazuo Oga. I recently got his first book to look thru along with his first one. It's really inspiring to see his work flow and the details up close. This one took about 3-4 hours, as I was testing out the program. I really enjoyed the foliage shaped brushes!
To add on, I also did some simple studies. I really recommend looking up like "nature palette", "sky palette" etc. They're really helpful for looking at the base colors of objects.
