UPDATE - closed again for now!
Hello all,
I'm currently working on a few personal projects, freelance stuff and setting up a Society6 store!
For the first time in basically years i'm opening to take on a few commissions.
My painting style has changed a little over that time so i guess the final products will be a slightly different to some of these examples (in a good way!) but here is a rough price guide for the base costs. Cost will increase with complexity of subject.
Send me a note and ask me if you want anything different (or traditional art) and can discuss.
Will take on around 5 of them for completion in October.
Hello!
Apologies for the lack of regular posts for many months. I've been super busy with studies and when i find time to make art it's normally little traditonal drawings and paintings which are easier to post on my Instagram. My exams/coursework and everything will be over by the end of May but until then expect more quietness because i really want to give my exams everything i've got! After that there will be a LOT of art!
And i am happy to say I will soon be getting a Wacom Cintiq at long last!! I recently found out i won an award from my university where they agreed to help me pursue my art/science passions and are very kindly a
Just found out my recent Mononoke poster design got a DD!! It's the first DD i've had on a painting, so exciting!
Thank you so so much for all the support, it means a lot to me.
Hopefully i'll get more time to do some more digital painting soon (dissertation is so close to being done!!).
I wish everyone all the best for 2018!
Hey!
I came back a few weeks back now but wanted to share a few photos from my very inspiring biology fieldtrip at Danum Valley in the Bornean rainforest. The rainforest there is the tallest in the world and there were times it did feel like Princess Mononoke or something! Some of the trees were growing to over 80m and had the most amazing buttresses to support them! We were staying next to a river at the field centre with buildings on one side and beautiful rainforest on the other.
i am very tiny sat at the bottom of this photo for scale! ^^
There were plants everywhere, each completely different from the next and we were able to go alo
