Gaster returned as he watched the footage after he left, he knew the humans girls couldn’t keep their mouth shut about the surfaces. He knew this was one of the risks of having them around his subjects, now he must make sure his rules were more strict for them.
He had thought about getting some determination, their souls for them or give them a lesson. While they were asleep him used some blue magic on the girls as he opened the cell door lifting them out of the cell.
He closed it as he kept a close eye on the brothers to make sure they didn’t try anything. As He closed the cell Adin started to wake up a little and noticed she wasn’t on the floor, she thought maybe she was still dreaming as she fell right back to sleep.
Gaster sat by one of the sisters on a chair and the other on a table. Gaster strapped both of them on the table and chair. He wanted to try to get determination, their souls, from them at least from a living human. If one of the did die at least there was another to test the human limnents and maybe breaking the barrier.
He was going to figure out something and he was going to do it. Adora happen to wake up a little noticing she was tied down to a table again. She struggled against the straps seeing her sister stuck onto a chair, Adin awoke as well seeing her hands were strapped downed as well.
“Sis! What’s going on?” Adin asked when Gaster came into the room with a cup of coffee. “I see you two are awake now.” He said setting the cup down before grabbing a clipboard. “And you two are following most of my rules.” The sisters felt a sudden chill run down their backs. Gaster went up to what looked like machine-gun to them, whatever it was to them it seemed to be aiming at Adin. “I know you two have been talking about the surface.”
The girls look scared but Adora spoke up to him. “You said nothing about it!” Adora said while Gaster aim the machine at her sister. Adin look scared as she close her eyes out of fear, she could feel her heart drop to her stomach as the color in her face was vanishing.
“Or maybe I have and you two weren’t listening.” Gaster said going over to a control panel. “If you give my subjects ideas about the surface..well I guess you two are about to find out.” He pushed a button that start up the machine as Adin began to cry.
Adora struggled to get free, she was afraid that he was going to kill her just to teach her a lesson or maybe it was her that was going to be kill? “Don’t kill her!!!” Adora screamed out. Gaster looked at her seeing the tears coming down her face. “I’m not going to kill her, I’m just getting some of her determination.”
Adin’s soul glowed a little bit as the machine was starting up. “But, think of this as a lesson for you both.” He said pushing a button as a laser like beam hit against Adin’s soul. It was painful, it felt like a thousand needles like claws ripping at her chest. Adin cried and cried begging for it to stop.
Adora just cried up watching this till the laser stop, her sister’s soul was still there with her. It felt like hours to Adin, tears running down her face as her eyes were puff up red. Gaster went over to the machine pulling out a veil with this glowing blue and green color liquid inside of it. “Not very useful, but something to study.” Gaster said. Adora was shaking badly feeling as if the machine had it eyes were staring at her saying she was next. Gaster undid the straps on her sister as Adin collapsed to the floor.
“What did you do to her!!” Adora yelled at him as he check she was still alive. “She’s alive, her soul is useless to me but has some reactions to one my subjects.” He noted to himself ignoring Adora as well answering her question. Gaster lifted her up taking her to the next room or just making sure she was out of the way.
“I hope you understand what will happen if you keep up talking about the surface.” Gaster said coldly leaving the room for a little bit. Adin was barely awake when Gaster carried her out of the room. She felt everything spinning or it was mostly the after effects of that machine.
She was set down in a room which had nothing but padded walls to make sure there was not a chance of breaking a bone or something. Gaster just lay her down on the floor, it seemed comfortable at the moment when the door began to close. Gaster locked it in case she did escape as he headed back to deal with the older sister.
“I wonder what kind of soul you have?” He said using blue magic to make sure she was in place. “Why does soul and determination have to do with anything? “ Adora asked, feeling the straps coming undone knowing what was coming up next for her.
“It would make sense that you humans would forget about the war or at least some of the humans refuse to accept it happened.” He said strapping her into the chair next. “I thought they were stories…” Adora said “Just something grownups made up to scared…mom and dad told us not to go here…I understand why…” Adora looked at Gaster fearful for what he was about to do.
Gaster looked at her taking in a smoke before staring up the machine again. “Well…at least I know the reason why you and your sister came here.” Gaster said taking his lighter over to Adora’s cheek. The flame hit the skin as Adora was tense up against the flame. She could hear her parents screaming telling them to run.
“I know you didn’t start a fire, you don’t have heart to hurt anyone.” Adora’s soul showed as went back to get the machine ready again. “Nor does your sister, but if you two still talk about the surface, then I will end your lives and give your soul to Asgore.” Gaster wasn’t thinking about what he said but if he wasn’t scaring them than Asgore could be.
Papyrus was getting a puzzle ready for Adin when she came back as Sans just looked at his hand plate. “You think she will like it?” papyrus ask finish making a puzzle for his friend when Sans look up noticing something behind his brother, it look the sisters, they look older.
They seemed to be happy as if they had forgotten the horror they dealt with. “Brother?” Papyrus noticed how Sans was staring at him till looking behind him. Whatever Sans saw wasn’t there anymore.
“Nothing bro..” Sans said till he heard Gaster’s footsteps, then again it was the only pair of footsteps he knew too well. Gaster stood there with his clipboard in hand. Papyrus noticed that the sisters weren’t with him, he did began to worry a little.
“Where are our friends?” Gaster was busy writing down some notes when he looked at his subjects. “Don’t worry, you two will see them soon.” He said as Sans gave him a glare.
“They’re just recovering, they’re a little more fragile than subject 1 is.” Sans still glared at him as Papyrus began to worry. He wondered if Adin was sick from whatever he did to her or maybe something happen to Adora and she wanted to stay with her. Still is was worrisome for his friend not coming back to their cell.
“When they recover I’ll bring them back.” Gaster said soon leaving the brothers alone. Papyrus stared at the cube thinking about his friend. Sans sat next to him giving him a pat on the shoulders.
“I’m sure they’ll be back” Sans said feeling as the air seemed to get thicker around him. It almost felt like he could sense the pain from the sister or maybe it’s just he knew it all too well. They weren’t made in test tubes and yet he wanted be near them? Even if they were far he wanted to make sure they were okay. Sans didn’t know this feeling but he would understand it someday.
The sisters were laying on the floor as if their body had just stopped working for a minute. They just started to whimper a little from the slightest movement they made. “Sis…who is Asgore?” Adin asked trying not to move as much to look at her sister for a moment.
“I don’t know…i bet he was…trying to scare us..” Adora replied as a few gasps of pain escaped from her lips. Adin and Adora tried to remain quite as Adin let out a cry.
The pain they were feeling felt like needles that stayed inside of their skins for hours or claws that seemed to never stop not even for just a moment. The sisters seemed to push through the pain till they held each others’ hand. “We’ll make it out here…and we’re going to take our friends with us.”
Adora said trying not to speak much seeing her sister tear up a little bit. Gaster happened to be watching the sisters from another room, he could see their determination still flowing through them. “Humans…they’re so stubborn.”
