My Bio
After seeing with my own eyes the wonders and powers of photoshop over 5 years ago, I decided that I would make it a personal goal to become better with photoshop over time.

Over the years I have developed a passion for making forum signatures. I find that it is a very fun hobby with results that are always artistic. :D

Still on the journey to become an advanced user of photoshop, I practice when I can using it whether it be photo manipulation or simply making a banner or forum signature.

If anyone has any signature requests I would be more than happy to do them. All you need to do is send me a message/comment requesting what render, background, style, or any other details you want for the signature. I'll do the best I can!

Not sure if you want to do this but maybe be a mentor? It may sound weird but I want to get better at Photoshop since I started at the beginning of 2014 and I'm not as gifted as you at it.
Mentor? Hm...I've never truly taught anybody before (like had lessons and stuff). I mean that would probably take a lot of time on both our parts (teaching and trying to apply what you've learned on an actual piece). Honestly, all I can say is that it takes lots of practice. Trial and error. Each time you make a new sig, send it over to me or someone else good at making sigs and ask if we'll critique it.  If you want a detailed critique I'd be more than happy and giving pointers on what you need to improve on.
I mean lessons on using the paint tools and smudge tools, e.g. Each unique part of a tool like a music note or ink splash.
Hmm there are a ton of tools on photoshop. And by a ton I mean like maybe 30 basic ones. And those are basic. Counting with other advanced tools/settings would probably reach 100+ different combinations and explanations for what each tool does for photoshop - not to mention how one tool can work multiple ways depending on the situation.

My tip if you're looking for a brief explanation - just google search tutorials or youtube tutorials. There are tons out there in the net and I'm not ashamed to say I've used a few myself back in the day. It just takes time to view them and with proper dedication I'm sure you'd get a better understanding with it. I'm here so if you don't understand an explanation or tutorial given from someone, I could possibly explain it in simple terms.

But making lessons for each individual tool would take a long time to get through I think.

I want to know how you add all these effects like flares and where you find the idea of what to put.
