This is a family tree with all the lion king characters I could find. Lately I've been seeing quite some of these around, but they either miss book characters or have relations in them that I find confusing if not wrong. (e.g. Mheetu as Nalas son, Kion as Kiaras son and so on)
I mainly used the books and movies to find them, but also original sketches and interviews/scripts from the making of the lion king.

If you have any questions, please let me know! :)

I did not make up any relations, I tried to portait them just as in the movies & books. If I did something wrong you're welcome to tell me~ ^_^

----EDIT:

Fluffy: I know some people say he's Kiara, but in interviews the filmmakers refer to him as "he", so he has to be male. He cannot be Kion because he's supposed to be older than Kiara and Kion is younger than her. As a result he can only either be Kopa or a fourth cub. ^^

Mheeto: He is not a white lion cub! :D This is just an original black and white sketch.

Sarafina's sister is an OC.

I'm surprised how you mentioned about Fluffy, saying that everyone kept saying Fluffy's Kiara.

It gets me MAD, trying to explain the differences of the presentations from the end of the 1st film and the sequel.

There is zero canon evidence that Nuka is Scar's son, and lots of evidence suggesting that he is not.  The most compelling of which is that such a connection is distinctly absent from Nuka's list of "qualifications" for kingship.

Actually in the movie Nuka complains about Kovu being king instead of him because "kovu is not even scars real son" (''Kovu, Kovu, Kovu. Scar wasn't even his father. He just took him in.'') which suggests that Nuka is his son. I know it doesn't PROVE anything but also in the deleted scenes of TLK2 Zira refers to scar as her "beloved" which suggests she had a sexual relationship and/or a cub with him at one point.

Uh, no, it does not suggest that Scar is Nuka's father.  If that were the case, it would have been the FIRST qualification Nuka would have listed for why he should be king.

By his bitter tone about someone Scar didn't give birth to being the heir to the throne, it does imply that he should be heir because he was his son. No need to be a sarcastic jerk about it.

Mtoto was also supposed to be the son of one of Sarabi's sisters as well. Mentioned here lionking.wikia.com/wiki/Mtoto

I'd just like to point out that that "Mheetu" concept art is not Mheetu. It is in fact early Simba concept art. With the release of the Disney Diamond Edition of TLK, we learned that that particular concept art is early Simba and not Mheetu.

It's because of a certain rabid fanbrat that new fans often mistake that concept art for Mheetu.

Oh really? Thanks for the information, where did you get it? I'd like to have a source for every information I present here. So before I change it I'd love to get the one you know that from. :)

Here you go

As you can see it has the name SIMBA on the bottom of it, not Mheetu c:

To me, the movies are canon above all else. Kopa is like fara phoenix from star fox, created for a comic but never recognized as canon in any official works.

I know I might sound mean, i'm in the same boat as them. I'd love for sega to recognize sally acorn as an official sonic game character but I know that's never ever going to happen.

You don't sound mean. :) No problem.
I understand what you mean. Of course the movie characters are the most important, that's why I seperated them in color. I know the other characters will not be officially recognizes, except for Kion. ^^

I didn't do this as a "this is the perfect family tree and no one may say something else", but just because I saw a lot of family trees with that I personally didn't agree.

it's okay. I like Kion. He's a canon character whether some like it or not. he's also been referred to officially as the secondborn cub of nala and simba, and since kiara is in the upcoming movie and show..

...

yeah, sorry kopa fans

I think Kopa is really cute too, but to be honest I kind of think Kion is the Disney-Version of Kopa. Kopa was not originally made by the filmmakers of TLK, so they probably wanted a new character for "The Lion Guard" that did not have a backstory yet, especially as the possabilities with a cub BETWEEN the two movies are highly limited for the upcoming series. With Kion they can pretty much do anything they want without having to worry about destroying the Kopa-fanbase nor worrying about messing things up when it comes to the second movie.
Besides Kion and Kopa really look similar. Maybe the makers of the series hope he will be as popular with an "official re-design" of Kopa.

I hope you get my point. ^^;; I'm not a native speaker...

But just so you know, I like both - Kion and Kopa, even though I don't know much about Kion yet plus I fear the series will be rediculous.
