I always felt this sort of character development was missing in something like Godzilla vs Destroyah. Just would have loved a scene with the actress dealing with the idea of her powers being all but gone and she in turn would lose any real drive to her life and job career that she took in order to protect Japan. Sadly, things like that were not really implemented in a Godzilla series until GxMG with the character of Akane Yashiro trying to come to grips with her teammates dying at the hands of Godzilla.
