Dancing with my Demons - This was done exclusively in Corel Painter 2021
I was going through an extremely rough patch mentally due to an extremely toxic and abusive relationship which was spilling over into all aspects of my life.
After a stressful weekend of arguing, extra stressful traveling and a belligerent boss breathing down my neck I couldn't deal with reality anymore.
I started this in the Charleston Airport on a layover and from there I couldn't stop painting. I took a day off work to get the main foundation down and then spent almost every waking moment I could adding more and more details. I did a lot of areas on 5x zoom so it's really worth zooming in and looking around.
