sketchbook 7: The President

Hello there  

Long time no see, I am behind everything right now, way too focused on Life and whatnots and not making enough time for sketching. (I did write, though but it's not an excuse). Anyway, I am finally coming back to sketching and the second successful attempt at it was this portrait  

This is one of the main characters of my novel. President Nëela Olusegun, former leader of a rebellion that took place just 10 years ago. One of the people who changed the face of History and a woman who has a LOT of enemies and opposing voices but also a lot of support and love from her people. She's a very just leader, and compassionate as well, which sometimes clashes a lot with the extreme views of some of her people. She's a very important character who, despite not being physically present in every scene, would have her shadow everywhere  

Anyway, I just wanted to have fun, so I did
