The Flames of Rebirth

Jake, another one of Rain's friends, and the oldest member of his crew. Jake initially was a bit of an jerkass, being a sort of womanizer, often flirting with many different women in front of Lid, his girlfriend/wife. Despite this, he is a very mature individual, having led a rebellion against his father, who had become a mad emperor, and having an oddly fatherly side to him, constantly watching out for the young Rain and Lasswell at the time, even giving them advice. Jake constantly fights for those who can't fight for themselves, defending those he cares about greatly, even risking his very life to protect Lid from enemies during the Visectrum Tournament, nearly dying from the injuries he suffered during it. Because of this brush with death, and his later death at the hands of Vlad, Jake would be bonded with the Phoenix, turning him into an immortal warrior, who will always get back up, no matter what befalls him. When semi-primed, Jake's legs turn into the talons of the Phoenix, as he gains the Phoenix's wings, and antennae of flames. With the Phoenix's power, Jake can cast some of the strongest fire spells, and can even revive others. When fully primed, Jake takes control of the Phoenix, scorching his enemies into ashes with vehement flames.
