The Birth of Hyoh

Yeah, they're one and the same, we all know that. Anyways, this is a bit of another lore dump, for why Rain turned into Hyoh. And begin. After defeating the Chaotic Darkness, Rain would fall through the gate to Paladia, dying in the process. He would soon be revived by Dark Fina, who said his journey wasn't over. He then had to cross a vast desert, while cutting down monsters along the way, unable to get anything to drink or eat. He eventually made it to the Town of Sacher, or The Town of Lament. He would soon collapse, desperate for anything, when a young girl named Mirfas would help him, giving him some water, and helping him into her house. She would explain everything to him, before talking of a guardian named "Raegen" Who had been protecting people from being taken to the labs and experimented on. Confused at the idea his father had somehow arrived in the world as well, Rain would look for this man. The man would turn out NOT to be his father, but an old friend of his father, named Crimson. He was a subordinate of Raegen, but was unable to be there with him when Raegen was sent to Lapis, along with his group. He laments that he felt so weak, unable to protect anyone. Rain manages to help raise his spirits, and after taking out several Aldore Soldiers, and stealing one of their blades, Rain and Crimson would end up staging a jailbreak for the prisoners of Sacher, which would end with Crimson sacrificing himself to protect Rain after they were surrounded after freeing the prisoners. As Crimson died in Rain's arms, Rain would give Crimson closure on Raegen, with it revealed to him that Raegen was alive and well, and had even named his weapon after Crimson, as Crimson made Rain promise to bring down the Emperor, stating that as a member of the royal bloodline, he had to take back their home. Crimson then died in Rain's arms, as Rain made his way back to the others, not knowing that both a hess resident and an Aldore soldier had heard their conversation. A few weeks later, Rain and Mirfas would try and go out on their usual walk, only to notice a big unrest in Sacher, as it had been revealed Rain was a royal, with the Hess residents believing he was simply acting as a savior to them, and was actually causing their suffering, since the Aldore Royal family didn't have a good name at that point, due to the Emperors making everyone believe they were Aldore Royal family members, and hurting many. While the Hess residents were angry, the Aldore residents tried to defend Rain, believing that he was true in his efforts to protect them, which would end up leading to a civil war in Sacher. Rain would run around the town, trying to find Mirfas in the chaos, while pursued by Hess residents, with another friend he made named Kyanos stopping a big group of them to allow Rain to find Mirfas. He would find that Mirfas' parents had been killed in the unrest, and while trying to help Mirfas escape, she would instead be stabbed. While here, Rain would zone out, as he remembered words his mother had told him about the people of Hess, and how there were some who were not good people. Some who, given the chance or reason to, would betray their own, hurt their own, KILL their own. As Rain recalled this, he felt his heart grow colder, before cutting down the man who stabbed Mirfas, reflecting on the fact he actually just killed an "Innocent" man, before killing the other Hess residents who were near. He then would tear apart a group of Aldore Soldiers, not feeling a thing. He would then pick up the dying Mirfas, running through the town to find Kyanos, only to find her dead and trampled corpse on the road, before he ran out of town with Mirfas, who eventually begged him to stop. As Rain cried while holding her, Mirfas would die in his arms, leading to him desiring revenge on the Aldore Emperor, spending a full month cutting his way through the Aldore forces, even badly wounding the Delta Star Demoldoa, before finally reaching the Aldore Emperor. Despite how hard Rain tried, he could not get near him, nor could his attacks reach. It was like something was just stopping them dead in their tracks. During his final attack, the sword he was using would break, leaving a handle and a short blade that he would try one last time to stab the Emperor with, managing to push further, and get close to stabbing the Emperor, only to be blasted away by a powerful Wind spell, leaving Rain exhausted, and unable to move. Here, Rain would be approached by the Emperor, who was impressed with Rain's strength, and sensing how lonely Rain was, would request Rain join the Empire, with Rain doing so out of simply having no other choice. In doing so, Rain would plan on growing strong enough to kill the Emperor, eventually donning dark armor and a helmet, and a new name... Hyoh.
