So, hi! I've been doing things.
This summer has not been great. I sprained my wrist, had my gallbladder removed in an emergency surgery (do not recommend), and said goodbye to Niji (just yesterday).
So, while I do have some artwork which I will post eventually, I'm just dealing with a lot.

Good grief it has been a while. I don't know that I know my way around this website anymore.
I promise you, I am still around and kicking, but I feel terribly ashamed about the state of my inbox and such.
I have been doing a lot of computer things because of work. I haven't been doing a lot of art... I have some, but not very much. It's been a bit of a challenge to try to draw consistently. Perhaps I should try more.
On the other hand, I been doing a lot of crocheting and that. I learned to knit (badly). I've picked up the basics of weaving... I find I enjoy yarn crafts a fair bit. I still have to assemble my 4-shaft table loom though. ...That might be a weekend project.
Would people be interested in pictures? I don't know what's interesting these days...

Fluffy pain in the butt
I would like to introduce you to my lovely cat, who is now very nearly 13 and a half years old.He's a sweet cat who loves ham, sunbathing, and taking long strolls in the yard.He has also rather recently decided he likes eating just about anything he can get his paws on, meaning we have had to lock up anything edible (packaged or not) away from places he can get to them. ...Also he's lost about a third of his body weight, on top of getting sick all over the place.All of this has become rather concerning, and so we took him to the vet, and of course they had to run tests, because this behavior and symptoms screams "hyperthyroidism" (or worms...
