[English is not my first language but I tried my best] There are still 3 hours until dawn. The small bedroom was dark, interrupted occasionally by faint flashes of moonlight breaking through the thick clouds. There weren't many items in the room, just a bed, a desk and a large wardrobe. The walls were covered with colorful posters and photos of smiling people. To the right of the entrance, along the eastern wall, was a desk. It was covered with a pile of books, notebooks, clothes, cables and single pieces of paper. At the bottom of it was the metallic corner of a laptop sticking out from under a dark sweatshirt. Several dangling cables wrapped around a nearby chair. Right next to the overturned seat were large black earphones. It wasn't an ideal place to leave the headphones, as they were dangerously close to the bed. A person who is inattentive or simply sleepy will most likely step on them when trying to get up.
