Wow i like how you have put so many details (engraved fish, etc.)!
And is it a dead animal on the side of the road in the grass? Awesome realism

Thanks! I'm all about the details :)

Yes, that is some sort of dead animal, a kind of a cat like creature mummified on the side of the road.

Gives off a Starcraft and Fallout feeling to me. Fallout because of the background, and the vehicle reminds me of Starcraft for some reason

Well, you're probably not far off. You just mentioned my 2 favorite games ever. Im quite sure they influenced the design...

Great job, all the small details and the background make it seem very real. Love the flimmering hot air.
The windscreen on the vehicle seems kinda useless, but it gives it a nice and sleek design. All in all, once again a great job!

Thanks! The flimmering hot air was a real chore to get right. Had to rummage trough a few tutorials to tackle that one.

The windshield was bigger and smaller along the building progress. I finally just decided to go with what looked best, rather than the more realistic look I usually go for.

Well, not really. The only real similarity is two rotary engines on the sides of the hull.

Thanks for the comment.

I have to admit its quite a spontaneous work. A lot of the details is created without too much in-depth thinking of how It actually would work. It was a fun, easy project.

I'm sure the hole vehicle could be picked apart and criticized for not being that close to real world standards, but you dont always have to aim that high :)

So does the thing modify speed by adjusting how far back the two rotors are?

Well, sort of. That and the slight tilting motion the spinners can do should give some degree of maneuverability. I figured the rotors should be as far a part as possible to help out in steering. And the wings at the back keep it steady when going fast.

I kind of winged it ( no pun intended ) in this project. I didn't think too much about the real world plausibility. A fun and brainless project :)

I hadn't even noticed the wings on the back, hah. I always like putting thought into my designs, even if it's just a little bit of thought.
