I have been following you on dA for quite some years now, and I still love your work a lot.
Recently, I actually went to Japan and I saw many things I knew from your pictures, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, I did not see a single lycoris though it might have been what I wanted to see most. However, this photograph makes it up. Thank you.

I am currently in Japan and when I saw an actual live lycoris, just growing at the side of the road, I was so happy! It made me remember this comment, so I was wondering if you live in Tokyo? Maybe we could actually meet up this time : )

pretty good!! I get that people here are not as warm as the people in Brazil, but they're so nice to each other!! And really respectful too

'In silence, we spoke
words that we would never dare
to pronounce out loud

And the conversation was
deeper for its lack of talk'

You've re-invented how you portray this flower many times, and I think this works beautifully. As you say, this is you at your best!
I love the light in this, how it radiates outward from the centre of the flowers, and the petals seem to be gradually fading into the dark background. It's very poignant.

 once someone told me that
we should  avoid speak thing out loud
because once you've said ,
it's out there . became true .

i guess specially now with this
new world of communications
in the global internet .
things can get even more messier .

That's very true. Nothing we say should ever be spoken too lightly; sometimes it's wiser and kinder not to say anything at all. Few people seem to value that these days.

The internet, in some instances, helps us to connect; yet it also makes us take those connections for granted, even exploit and misuse them, forget how to really connect with people. So often, people just mindlessly type things and post it out there, not bothering to consider whether they actually mean what they say - and, more importantly, what it will mean to the people who read it.

I know you can do this picture better, but it is masterpiece like this also. Song you linked fits with a photo and that beautiful text perfectly. Clap
