The Absence of Nectar by Kathy Hepinstal - Very well written, about two kids and their sinister new step dad.
In the Company of the Courtesan - not sure of the author, but its about a venetian courtesan as the name suggests. Nothing amazing but a good read.

I appreciate a naked chick as much as the next guy/girl,
but I am so so so tired or seeing a photo , not a particularly good photo and what do you know! The model is topless! OR nude!
Wow what a cool edgy picture, I really love what you've done with the no clothes thing. Not!
Even when I was at uni, alot of the fellas (Not knocking you but, just an observation)
would do something with female nudity in it and think it was so witty and a great design because it was so edgy.
Well.... it's not. They're just boobs, hooray they're great and all but I really like kittens, and Im not going to plaster them all over my work just to get some more appeal.
It's been done a zillion times before! And just because it features nudity it doesn not make it a good photo or design.
If however it is a good photo or design that just happens to feature nudity then well done.
