Slide-Tember: Vampire Bard

Continuing on with #SlideTember, this is actually an idea I go back and forth on whether I wanna eventually do it in the main canon or not, because of how interesting it would be. Basically, it's that The Bard becomes a vampire, but maintains her sense of self and continues to be a hero. Of course, doing so would require her to go through pretty extensive therapy over what had been done to her. However, she would likely remain an asexual aromantic, and here's why: Various monsters in fiction are seen as symbols and allegories for the darker aspects of human nature, and vampires in particular symbolize sexuality. But what if there was a vampire who wasn't really sexual at all? It would make for an interesting novelty at least. And I also think she would be of the purple-eyed breed of vampires in my stories, as they trade in a lot of their physical enhancement for greater magical potential.
