Elasmosaur sculpture 2

Calawayasaurus colombiensis, elasmosaur from the Paja formation of the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia, first found near the town of Sutamarchán. I modeled this in pottery clay for the Estudio integral de Arte (www.estudiointegraldearte.com/… in 2004. The Estudio molded and casted the model in resin. I designed several color patterns, one of them was used for the final coloring of the model.
