Thank you for your critique

I am honored that you are so impressed!
Magnum
I have felt from certain monitors the image looks over saturated, but not overexposed. The brightness on the edges is due to the reflection of light on the water, which I could tone down, but I felt it would seem as though the water wasn't there or at the natural angle that it is. It has actually been commented to me that this photograph is underexposed because of the darkness of the water, but the pool where this shot was taken has a black bottom so the water is always extremely dark. I will play around a bit and see if I can't do some more recovery with Lightroom in any case :)

Thanks for the critique!
Natural Love
Thank you for your critique!

The only thing I might note is that there was no sun on this day, the blur is caused by the thick mist coming off the ice on the path.

I had taken a few shots from different angles, but the path always seemed to look the nicest in this one. It is interesting that you like the tree on the far right, the other critique requested that I remove it!
Misty Afternoon
Thank you for your critique! I agree about the tree bit, the shot I had taken further up didn't quite curve the same and I ended up choosing this one. When CS5 comes out and that lovely content-aware fill is available I am going to play around with removing it. :D

He is indeed alive and well in this shot, he was also very squirmy and a little scared, but never scared enough to crawl back inside his shell.
