That's pretty good, I see you are tackling backgrounds now too.
I noticed the changes you did to the shading, I think one of your next steps is the cubes and sphere study www.google.com/search?q=cubes+… if you haven't already.
Good job though. : )

I couldn't get the shading dark enough, and when i went darker it looked like her head was pasted onto her shoulders, I looked quiet funnySweating a little... , last time i study cubes was two years ago, back in high school. I will have to find those notes and go over them again.

Thank you for the linkHug (I don't say this enough Sei-ya, but thank you so much for helping me, very few people take the time to do this, I really appreciate it)

Sure, its not much as helping, as you're are easy to talk to. Most of what I know is drawing related so its fun for me :)
Oh ok I was just checking, because I saw you shading.

I'm surprised you find it easy to talk to me, my friends say i often babble on.

I wont lie though, I often forget where my light source is, and wind up just putting shading down where it feels right. (I know,"Bad Jade, don't take short cuts.")

Hahah well You don't seem to mind the vampire girls am always drawing, and you don't ignore my comments, you know when you type to people and then they don't reply. Also you got nice things to say and aren't all cynical like.

Well you can always go towards being more of a fine artist then you can shade where ever. And I mean that in a good way I think fine artists have more freedom than the constrains that come from being an illustrator.

I love your Vamp girls, they are  your muses, my sis is my muse and your blonde vamp kinda reminds me of her.

You see i love the freedom that comes with art, even if some people prefer the realism, i for one prefer to see the freedom, the process. (final art product are awesome and all, but seeing the process form point A to B is always more inspiring, that is one of the reasons i love yours work, despite it being finished you can still see the brush stokes, the emotions if you will.( sorry if that came out weird, been moving stuff all day)

Glad you like them : D and also your sis must be really cute.

Didn't come out weird, it makes perfect sense, that's why I draw the way I do, super polished artwork lacks vitality. I don't get why most people prefer that...but that means although we grew up in different continents we're of similar drawing inclination...hmm I have i told you about the Fauves? www.google.com/search?q=fauve+… it's pretty great.
I think i did, because I recall you telling me about this art style that was geometric and colorful, hmmm. but yeah what you said makes a lot of sense.
