oh ya, that's was a concept based around a teen titans type of style :P, I wanted to see how the character would look younger

I like the change :P
I've tried realism before but it doesn't work for me :c

Realism is hard yes, but its a good practice in my opinion :P, it helps you understand how things work and should look, thus making it easier to make a simplified version of you characters

I really enjoy your progress, it just looks more FUN!. The first one looks like you where concerned with reality, which  is VERY important.
but your second drawing just looks joyful, a joyful warrior. Coool

By the way I also used to draw with short strokes like you, I can upload some old drawings so you can see. When I learned anatomy my drawing strokes got longer because I learned the distance of the muscles.

Wow your style has changed so much, the girl sitting looks very anime, this is so amazing seeing you from then until now:D (Big Grin) . I see what you mean by the change from short lines to long lines, im hoping that i start to develop a style soon, i have been using a lot of photos as reference in order to build my characters and stuff. Thank you for going through the trouble of finding these for me :) Been trying out that technique of yours, with the two colors and light reds and pinks to make the skin look living, im slowly starting to get it.:) (Smile)
