Following Pipsqueak’s offer, Seelie’s doing their best to learn the Transmutation spell family. The druids of Deadman’s Cove are more than happy to help!

Shapechange isn’t the most practical at lower levels, given the creatures folk can turn into tend to be smaller, weaker, and more bite-sized. The Ghostlights aren’t magical prodigies– not yet, so the Cove druids can’t offer them much to do with the spell. 

That is, except for exposure therapy. 

With most lower-level creatures being insectoid, the Ghostlights tried to get Seelie used to insects they knew they could trust. And what’s a better trust exercise than a group sun nap? It’s certainly… A Technique. 

However, Flesh to Nature is a much quieter affair. It’s nearly essential to traverse the thick swamps in any reasonable amount of time. However, Seelie wasn’t much for the races through the trees (in fact, Tawny forbade them from it, given their condition and blight). Instead, they went to the slowly regrowing swamps.

Flesh to Nature allows a view of the wilds not often seen by Folk, letting them traverse it without disturbing a single piece of it. 

And Seelie feels…

…At home.

Also, I’m not saying that sitting at the bottom of a lake would fix me, but I’m not saying it wouldn’t. Flesh to Nature must be fantastic for deep-pressure therapy. I’m so jealous.
