Lady Stardust ~ 2023 Artfight PPAU Quest

“I don't need no superheroes, I don't care for Gods with wings

   Quest: Summer Starfall

   Featuring: Daiquiri, Kairi, Merlot, Plover & Starfinder 

   And fourteen hours later, we’ve got my main attack of the season! It doubles as Plover’s July PPAU Quest, where Plover & Starfinder take an evening to see the annual meteor shower! Starfinder organized the date for the two of them, trying to give Plover an evening off from all their… stress, which we will not be diving into. 

   Yet. 

   Unfortunately, Plover doesn’t do well after the sun sets– they’re a dawn-to-dusk type of drake. Though they tried to stay up for Star, they fell asleep barely fifteen minutes after getting there. But at least Star doesn’t mind, and the two can call this a successful date. 

   We’ve also got some cameos from our lovely friends Kairi, Merlot, and Daiquiri, who are part of the many people taking the evening to scan the skies! I imagine Kairi’s out there hoping to get some of that illusive skyfire; meanwhile, Merlot’s taking the time to teach little Riri about the Icewing constellations. But Daiquiri’s more fascinated about why a million Seawings are flying up there. 

   Thanks for letting me borrow your characters, guys! And I hope the rest of you enjoy this– I have more art juice left in me for the rest of the season, but not anything of this quality. This piece took me a week to finish (though I’m delighted with the results).
