Black Tie Sunset ~ Design Commission

    I’m excited to introduce you to this nameless design for Pyrodoxical for an upcoming PPAU character! This design took me far longer than it should have to draw, as I was busy with school and PPAU events, but I adore how this turned out in the end.

    Pyro said the character has a deceptive/actor vibe, so I just decided to screw it and went all out, giving them a mask and suit composed of their conflicting scale patterns– their Icewing scales cling tight to the body, while the thicker Nightwing ones create larger shapes, or even hang off the body in plates. I’ve been calling them Masquerade in my head, given their design and personality.

    I wanted to bring that conflict of their tribes into something physical on their scales, hence the mix-match of scale types, but still creating something cohesive. This character hates everyone, given all their fighting and bloodshed, but hates everyone equally, so they treat them all well. 

    And yes, this edgy Icewing/Nightwing character now has a soft pastel design. Listen, this is my designing we’re talking about. If it doesn't end up pink & purple, I haven't done my job right. 

    But legitimately, this is one of my favourite designs, as I believe it’s relatively simple but still has a unique look! I hope you all like it, and be sure to check out Pyro for all your edgy PPAU serial killer needs!

    For anyone who would like to know, my design commissions are currently not open beyond friends. Still, I'm in the process of working on commission prices for the public as we speak. So look forward to that soon! For real this time, I promise. I've got everything good to go, but finding the time to work on them is always difficult.
