An Unfinished Self ~ GG Monthly Prompt

    Hello there! I’m sharing my palette challenge attempt to snatch those lovely Haunted Hootenanny upgrades. The Haunted Candycorn palette caught my eye despite having never done any palette prompts before. 

    And can I say, they’re a lot of fun but so difficult to pull off— my props to those who can do these easily. 

    But, despite my premature death, I loved drawing Coni in these colours! So, despite a few false starts, I painted the background and simple-colour Coni. Despite growing up in the Den, Coni’s a fish out of water and ostracized by other kits. That’s what happens when all of your family tends to turn into monsters. 

    Coni himself feels— unfinished, in a sense. No past and no future, only the confusing now, with no guide. How do you deepen your understanding of the world with nothing to tether you to it?
