ALRIGHT!! ONE THOUSAND ACORNS, BABY!!! *insert appropriate celebratory noises and songs*

It’s been a long, three-year road– seventy-one pieces and two hundred and eighty-two characters long, to be specific– but I’m so happy with where we’ve ended up. Plus, where we’ve got left to go! 

I joined Grimsby Grove as just a side thing– I’d been stalking evolving species for a while and had dipped a toe into That Which Shall Not Be Named (before getting bad vibes and immediately backing off), but it was GG’s unique lore which caught my attention. What can I say? I’m an absolute sucker for cosmic horror and gay bastards all in one place. This group was made for me. 

My characters– and myself– have definitely evolved over these three years. Can you believe that Coni was going to be my potential selected warlock? 

Lets actually talk about them, shall we? I’m hoping to shift the spotlight away from Seelie and over to Coni– I’m hoping to get started on the story I have planned for him and maybe find more of it along the way! 

With Seelie, I’m super proud of how far my baby’s come. She and her story have pushed me to expand my horizons and towards the good friends I have now. Seelie’s also been fun to explore myself in– fun fact: I was unaware I was autistic when I made her, despite her being a vessel for my fey special interest.

Plover is returning soon—I promise. The second the transfers open again, our bastard baby will come back swinging! 

Going forward into this year, I’m hoping to do more personal stories for my babies. I’ve been cooking some stuff up in the background! I hope y’all will enjoy what’s been brewing. 

I’m sending out a huge thanks to my fellow Ghostlights, @MinTea-Leaves @LiteralCryptid @twooost, who have been incredible friends and story partners in Grimsby Grove. That, and a big thanks to all of you for following and engaging with my dumbass possums for the past three years and one thousand acorns.
