If you are anything like me, you 'rescue' house spiders, take them outside and release them.
I discovered some time ago that spiders are almost always very thirsty. So, after I catch them with my clear spider/bug catching container, I drip a few drops of pure water into it. I gently roll the water towards the spider. When the spider realizes there is water, it stretches out its hind legs away from the water to anchor itself and immediately drops its mandibles into the water and takes a long, long drink. It's the cutest thing you ever saw... and it makes you realize even more how we are all connected, how we all aren't so different, and how we all have needs.
This spider just had a refreshing drink.
I give water to everything I catch before I release the 'bugger'. Consider giving your next house guest a drink of water before you let it go. It just may shift your outlook into an even more comp
