Envisioned beauty and Imagination, manifesting without a chance
Dreams they pass through my mind, bringing me false hope
Wishful endurance of excluding their ignorance, impossibility entirely
I see what pains them, I see average life constricting
I see mediocrity, flooding their melancholy gazes bored with loss.
Children young, lives obligated, I almost understand
But no, I refuse to acquit their judgmental stares and reckoning
I dream of blue suns, I wish among stars greater than myself.
I bleed for humanity's potential, I scream for what could have been
My bouts leave with no response, no question, even retaliation
So to fall in line as the rest, I kill my being completely
I'll work your factory, I'll crumble under the system
You've defeated my tuition, extracted my fruition
So here I lie, as one who was once whole, defeated as many before me.
