Couldn't be better in composition and catching the moment. A perfect example how to show us the whole beautiful scene with only a small picture of it."
*dunnofly said; "It's a totally original shot that take you to heaven, to an other calm world and peaceful world. The blue of the water with the colors of the tree is just awesome and unique. A perfect shot!
~gracie-is-a-pie said; "It's one of those times when a slow shutter speed can make something look really surreal. I love how the photo is so naturally divided, and how there's a single portion of it with warm vegetation. The waterfall reminds me of ruffles on a long, icy blue gown.
*JessR-Photography said; "An amazing photo! My mouth dropped when I first saw it. I love the abstract feel to this photo, the double waterfall is what makes this photo even more spectacular! When I look at the leaves it makes me think of Autumn, it provides the perfect contrast between the blue of the water and the gold of the leaves. It's a dreamlike photo, I get lost in it's magic every time I look at it! I urge you to go check out the rest of Maria's inspirational gallery!"
=PlanetaryButterfly said; "I can't believe there is even such a place. It's magical, and *justeline took the perfect picture of it. It's almost surreal..."
*daisukekuroneko said; "Its an extraordinary capture, its a scene that came out of LOTR, the colors, the natural lines, the shapes, the feeling, everything is breathtaking! This amazing and very talented deviant captured the magic of a fairytale into a single photo."

Autumn Interlude

Sometimes you are lucky enough to find yourself in front of a scene that includes almost all of your obsessions; a beautifully built stone bridge, a double waterfall and a raging river running beneath it... copper-leafed trees framing it all...

And yet, after you have spent some time at that place, looking at it from all possible angles, trying to capture that wonderful puzzle, you realize you have fallen in love with just one piece of it.

Sometimes you find that one particular piece of the puzzle is much more important than the whole picture...

This is lovely. The stripes that the water creates are a great background for the plants.

This is just stunning! I love how the yellow leaves stand out form the blue

Great choice of shutter speed to get that motion in the water too!
