20 000 leagues under the sofa (Life with Loopy)

Since some time I wanted to take my fun of drawing a little further.

No: I'm not taking drawing professionnally (hence why I'm still on paper after 9 years) and I'm not going to chase an audience, however doesn't mean I don't have to get my own fun out of it.

My goal this year is to be more intrigued to break the rules, not just by doing digital effects on paper but also using my real-life surroundings to create sceneries in my own style.

What inspired me to do all this in the first place was (W)holesomeproducts and all their works where they were not afraid to mix multiple style of animations for their stuff. This is basically my same mentality and their show is what pushed me into drawing for fun in the first place.

If it inspires people, then good, if it's not, then it's not.

Anyway, I figured for this first major experiment, I'm going back to these roots of inspirations.

TL;DR, here's a first try of my new objective with a remake of a shot to one of their works: Life with loopy, series of shorts on Kablam..

Loopy sure explored a wacky world to get that lucky baseball for her brother.

I cutted a simple drawing of Loopy out of a sheet then put it through a couch crack, I added pencil dirt and lint around here and luckily, I had a baseball toy.

I have less time to draw these days due to busy stuff, but I do hope to post more of this kind of stuff in the future and not limit myself to just (W)holesome products fanarts. Well, I already have some ideas anyway.
