Wow it has been too long. I really have to apologize but currently there's like a buttload of stuff going on irl that needs to be dealt with first and thus dA and my computer in general are being cut back.

"Allright big boy, you know the drill. It's been some time since the last competition but it's like cycling, right? One can't just unlearn it." Yan murmured, more to himself and patted the strong neck of the buckskin stallion.
Witchcraft's ears kept flicking back towards his rider while he took the energetic atmoshpere of the arena in.
Yan was excited to be back in the show ring with his favourite stallion and companion for the longest time. A slight tingling of adrenaline bubbled up in his stomach as he cued Watchcraft into working trot through the arena after the pair before them had just cleared the last jump.
Not that he didn't trust Craftie's Cross Country skills, quite the contrary: the stallion was exceptionally talented and had the stamina of a bull and training went well, too.
But still: the last competition had been over two years ago and this Cross Country course was held indoors.
A low nicker made Yan snap out of his thoughts. He felt Witchcraft grew impatient, all wound up like a spring, wanting to start already.
"Okay let's do this, buddy."
