Kabbeco I commend you for working from real life. All your works display an artist who is genuine and driven to create. You have already developed a recognizable style. I my opinion this composition has many strengths. - Placement within the picture plane is very successful. - The illusion of contrasting surfaces works well. Fabric against skin against cushion. -The illusion of 3D is successful. There is a real body here. - I like the attention to small areas of detail. The small tendril of hair suggests, to me , vulnerability and femininity. - When looking at art works I search to see if I can discern the 'the artist's breath' the human involvement...and yes I can in this work. - You may consider softening the end of the elbow. When I explore a work I look to see if there is anything that distracts. At this stage the elbow attracts my attention a little away from the back. If you soften the very end (as you did for the right side of the jeans) it should fall in line or flow with the curve of the waist band and enhance the illusion of space.
