Nice to see some black characters around.  The colours and textures are divine.  What is the book about?

Sorry, just realized you're a digital artist. Still would like to hear about your process, is there something already posted somewhere I can read? Thanks, brilliant work by the way!

Is there any way you could talk a little about your process on this? I'm curious about the embroidery on her cloak in particular. I'm working on a painting for a co worker, using this as inspiration. I'm still not quite sure how to get perfect circles with a brush either, do you make like a custom compass or something?

This is so gorgeous. I have to say, I got the prints from the Kickstarter and I'm a little disappointed that they didn't preserve the contrast nearly so well as it shows up on the screen. They still look good, just not as amazing as the digital versions.

Yeah, I noticed that the colors on this one in particular lost a little bit of contrast in the 11x14 prints, but I think they're still okay. The giclees turned out really great, and the version in the book, as well; I'll just have to try to do a better job calibrating to each individual printer (since all were printed through different services) next time. The place I got the 6x8 and 11x14 prints was my first time working with this particular printer.

I totally understand; I do a lot of digital prints myself and it's always a toss-up to see if they'll print correctly. I only got the prints, so I don't have any comparison to the giclees or the book.

Are you planning to offer prints of these images in the future? I would maybe consider re-ordering one or two of them (like this one) that lost a bit of contrast in printing if it meant I got an image a little closer to the digital version. And there are some of your other pieces I'd like to maybe get prints of as well. :)

Your talent with colours is flippin amazing! I love this take on, well I guess the Sun Shepherdess, but she reminds me of Eos (greek goddess of the dawn, sorry greek mythology is my default).
