This is an extra piece that I had been working on that didn’t make the cut for the Imagined Realms book. I thought it was kind of fun, though, so I went ahead and finished up anyway this week. :)

This is a delightful image. Is it possible to purchase a print of it anywhere?

I will be making some prints from the Imagined Realms book available after all the kickstarter backers get their packages, which should hopefully be by mid-December :)  (I'm waiting on the books to arrive from the printer at the moment) :)

Oh my, that's cool. One of the very few fantasy illustrations with people (I guess using the word 'people' is OK in English, even when they are elves or something?) looking, well, real, and not all like top-models on magazine covers.
The laughing dark-skinned lady with elvish ears and African dreadlocks/plaits just blows my mind :) And so does the girl in the lower right corner, the one with a confident smile and wearing something like sci-fi armour.

Of all the faces in this picture, the one that caught my eye was the father holding his child in the upper right corner. Very nicely done!

I like the variety in here! They look like they might come from different parts of the same world. There are so many characters in here but they still have individual appearances and give off different vibes and personalities.

Lovely painting, every character is unique and looks like someone it would be fun to get to know. Your paintings are always a delight! I wonder, have you ever drawn the characters from the Earthsea series by Ursula Le Guin?

Lovely, as always. I always feel so inspired by what you do.

One of the things I love most about your work is the diversity; not only race but culture too. I'm curious, as a fellow artist who loves incorporating diversity into world-building, what resources or references do you use during your process? What would you recommend for our own research?

I love that they look pretty independent from each other, but at the same time they're stacked up like they're watching a match or something. Nice and warm colours; this piece has a very welcoming feel to it.
