Angel paper doll by julie-allen Angel paper doll by julie-allen
My recent projects have been paper dolls. Loved em as a kid, and creating them is almost more fun than when I played with them!

This one was drawn out with paper and pencil, and then scanned. I cleaned up the outlines in Inkscape, then colored it in Photoshop Elements. This is the first doll that I've colored digitally. This is a significantly smaller image than the original. Each doll is on it's own page -- this is just an exhibition of all the designs together.
*The full-size preview of this is HUGE ... just so you know :)

Beautiful! I really like how you made the wings all sorts of colours. Angels in the classical through renaissance usually had rainbow wings or golden wings, not the plain white wings common now. It makes the more beautiful to me =)
