"A star, a star
Dancing in the night..."

A final piece for the year 2011 before I leave the country for the Christmas holidays. It's a relatively loose piece... took me roughly about 2 hours to do this.

wanna know what this is all about? It's a scene of a great Forerunner city while 2 Forerunners look in wonder of the great vista before their eyes.

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS 2011 AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 EVERYONE!

UPDATE (28/12/2012): wow! thank you so much :iconqaz2000: and :iconcasperium: for the Daily Deviation! What a timely Christmas gift this is... i really appreciate it! :D

I dunno, I don't know if the building aesthetic matches what the Forerunners usually use. You usually see a wider base and angled roofs. One can argue though that these buildings might be a different culture of Forerunners, which could actually explain a lot.

You got the Forerunner class sizes down pat. The larger guy could very likely be a Warrior-Servant while the smaller guy could even be a Manipular. Aesthetics aside though, I am a sucker for science fiction cityscapes, and this one is absolutely no exception. Wonderful use of color in the sunset, the beam of light on the central tower, and the subtle beauty of that one lonely star in the sky. It's really a good piece! Good work!
