Description
I've always adored the costumes designed for Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequels. My absolute favorite? The dress she wears in her funeral. With the flowers in her hair and the shimmering, flowing fabric, she looks like a river goddess.
When a friend of mine requested a Star Wars art trade, I knew I wanted to paint Padme in her water dress. First though, I decided to do a pencil study - which quickly became a favorite piece of art in its own right. Now I'm happy and proud to display it here.
