Okay. Pride month. So, dA is posting LGBT+ themed art each day on their FB page right now and people are saying it makes them uncomfortable. And in response to those comments, I am seeing a LOT of "well the LGBT community hopes you die" and shit like that - now please refer to the title.
If someone feels uncomfortable seeing art of two men lying in bed kissing in their facebook feed then THAT IS OKAY. They are allowed to feel uncomfortable. They also have every right to question the dA staff as to whether this is going to be a month-long affair, or whether they should unfollow them for the month. That is also okay. You know what? If it was going to be a whole month of them posting intimate pics of straight couples, I'd unfollow the page because I wouldn't want to see that in my feed every day. I don't mind seeing het art obviously, but if there was a whole month dedicated to it, I'd get pretty irritated and unfollow for sure.
