1000 Watchers

I recall, years ago, hoping to gain some degree of popularity with other members of the deviantART website. I had no expectation of gaining any kind of widespread following; maybe a couple hundred people at most. I originally wrote stories and posted them to my gallery as literature, and those who enjoyed reading my kinds of mature tales began saving them to their favorites, helping boost my sense of self worth. And they helped me make friends with similar tastes to mine.

A couple years ago, a new friend (who has since left the site) created a few AI images of my character, for which I was very grateful. Since then I had begun creating my own images of my character, and so have a few other new friends, and I also began creating other AI images just for fun and/or introspection, as well as to express warm feelings toward those here who are special to me.

Now, a little more than five years later, as a result of my writing, my images and my continuing friendships, the number of people who have begun following me has risen above the one thousand mark. I never expected this, but here we are, and I'm so very grateful to you all, and humbled to have been perceived to be interesting enough to have garnered such followers.
