swiss arms: closeup of the hand. fingers are made of steel and brass sheet, the thumb is made from 1 piece of coiled aluminium(though you cant really see it) this is the arm used by Bjorn "swiss" Hauptmann in "flight of the valkyrie" written by sjbonnar.
omigash, that is amazing. I hope mine turns out this well!!!! ^O^
Fabulous job dude!! Has given me my inspiration back! One question, how did it stay on? We made an arm Cannon for my brothers Wild West character and it kept slipping, any suggestions?
Rockin' job again!!
Rockin' job again!!
The fleece collar holds it on it's wrapped over a rubber section so it's gets a good hold once you put your arm through it won't slip off. Traction ftw!! ^_T
dude the hand is made of a freddy kreuger halloween glove.
eventually yes it was... i had one lying about and used it as a template to reproduce it in brass and steel sheet which cut through the glove i was wearing into my fingers. nice.
Holy shit! Why did I not look through your gallery sooner? I can't believe you effing made this!
truth be told neither can i... it was done pretty much off the top of my head and with a really REALLY rough sketch i did at about 3am the same day... im so pleased with the outcome.
so you should be! i wanna see it in real life! Are people allowed to touch it?
lol, yer. usually im more than willing to let people handle my props. "der panzer faust" was a bit different because it all had to be taken apart to be put on and taken off. its not like i could just hand it over like vulcan ravens m134 or zabuza's kubikiri horucho. there wer a few people who asked to shake hands with "the claw". next expo im at if you see me before hand or after the event let me know if theres any props you want to try out as im more than happy to show off, and i should have this with me ^_T
That'll be awesome! I can't wait for our next encounter!
I want to see it all together!
ok I double posted! sorry!
