Through Etsy I have sold 2 pieces from my beadwork collection, and I tell you what it just feels GREAT!
Over the last 5 years I was introduced to 1800 reenactments with my fiance's family. My mother in law is a basket weaver and we participate in one annual rendezvous here in Iowa. This last summer however we started to visit a few more and since we have expanded our "set up" (Over the last year our family bought 2 separate 16ft tipi's) we have been looking at the possibilities of setting up at other events. There is one held in Prairie du Chen WI every June and while visiting this last years event I found a couple who were selling a lot

Ill admit I'm bias, my birthday is at the end of the month, but isn't this truly a lovely time of year? While only speaking from my personal observations, August is filled with a sort of hope. A planning for the future that is instilled in us as children going back to school. Summer is over and its time to start a new, focusing and working hard. =] I can feel it! I can get into a sort of end of summer resolutions list! Where I live lovely colours come out this time of year. As the weather and the trees turn, its like a Disney movie moment for me sometimes, to feel the changing of the seasons I want

In other news, this past weekend my lil family went up to the Prairie du Chien rendezvous to walk around and we found some great deals on hairpipe bone beads, some leather, and some other items that we will be able to use!
